Arizona State Of Mind

Hello beautiful people, I am back! The last five months have been the most challenging and the most gratifying of life's mountains we have climbed yet. As one interesting chapter ended, a fresh chapter we have been eagerly waiting for began and I am completely thankful and scared out of my mind all at the same time. The Hubs and I were blessed with an awesome life altering opportunity and we took it by the coat tails and held on for dear life. All I can say is change is what we wanted, and we definitely got change that's for sure.

Moving from beautiful Southern California to a simple small town in Arizona is quite the culture shock. Being a makeup artist working in busy Los Angeles and then moving to a much slower paced town has taken a little getting used to. Neighbors wave when they drive by and they say good morning! Not something I am used to, but it's quite refreshing. The stores close early and everything is family and town oriented.

The well known quote "Toto we aren't in Kansas anymore" ran all throughout my head many times as I waited 15 minutes for a price check at the local Walmart and the people behind me in line were perfectly fine with it, they said and I quote "It's ok darlin' we don't have anything else planned today". Which I found quite humorous and it took my anxiety feels away almost immediately. Or the fact the speed limit around here is the magical number 30! I am dealing with a rare bird here.

I'm going to stop the blabbing about my small town talk and show you the beautiful mountains near our new home. These photos were taken on a hike after a random monsoon storm.

I guess you can say I am officially a Desert Doll now. I can't wait to show all of you my new journey ahead, Cheers to our new chapter!

Positive Vibes from Me to You!
XOXO Daniele
