Always Be Blooming

I was always afraid of wearing floral prints growing up.....Maybe it was the memories of 90's floral mumu dresses and jumpers that EVERYONE wore that scarred me for life. But every time I saw a floral piece of clothing I could smell that overpowering scent of potpourri my family used to have out on the coffee table growing up. So I decided to bite the bullet and just try it with this one floral tunic that caught my eye. Lets just say I had a meeting with destiny when I bought that top.

I have figured you can achieve so many looks with a floral pattern. For a soft feminine touch pair a floral top with a pair of white boyfriend jeans and a pair of those AMAZING Jeffrey Campbell taupe cut out booties you have your eye on, then top it off with a denim jacket. You can kick it up a notch and make it edgy with a leather jacket or an olive green utility vest, and add some combat boots to finish the look. Or make it casual, add a hat, wear it with some denim skinny jeans and throw on some moccasins. Don't forget the side tuck for some movement and flow in the outfit.

Get out there and rock the floral my Beauties! Be brave and get ready to "rock n' rose" tag @suburbanpaperdoll on instagram and hash tag #rocknrose when you recreate this look! I am looking forward seeing how you style a floral pattern.
