The Wilderness Is Calling, I Must Go....

I must say one of my favorite places to go are the mountains, it's my happy place. And two of my favorite hobbies are hiking and off roading (don't worry I am not the one driving). I always feel no worries and my anxiety and stress just melt away. 

The other weekend I went on a nature loving friend-venture with my hubby and our closest friends. What better way to decompress with beautiful views and good company, am I right? We took back roads to find beautiful gems with so much history and stories of their own. Our first find was The Eye of God, the biggest hunk of quartz I have ever seen in my life. The crystal loving hippie inside of me was in love at first sight. To actually sit on it and look out at the mountain view was an amazing feeling. 

After that beautiful find we off-road through the mountains and end up at Hanna Flats, the most quiet and beautiful camping area I have ever been to in my life. Of course driving on the edge of the trails is not always the smoothest and you get an adrenaline high. Which is a perfect pre game for a picnic on a boulder overlooking the pine trees. And what can I say after a few hours in the wilderness you kind of become a badass so why not take tough pictures right?!
