Back To Basics

In this Southern California fall weather we are starting to slowly gravitate towards our sweaters and knee high boots, and yes we can wear them comfortably now without feeling over heated. I chose a few basic clothing items that I feel are must haves for a fall wardrobe.

The first fall must have that should be in your closet is a hat! I have a thing for hats if you haven't noticed yet. I chose a black wool hat, it's comfortable and you'll be reaching for this to complete your fall outfits this season. I found my hat at H and M, it was reasonably priced and it has lasted 2 years already!

Fall to me means comfort, and there's nothing like a soft comfy t-shirt that's breathable and doesn't wrinkle when you wear it more than once. (Don't get grossed out we are going through a drought out here! I know I'm not the only one that wears clothing items more than once.) I got these shirts from All About You Couture, a boutique in Chino that I love so dearly. I chose black and white because they'll match anything I wear them with.

It is not fall without jackets. It was so hard to choose my three favorites, so I chose the styles that you can find in just about any store, and use with any style you are going for. I picked out an olive utility jacket, a faux leather and a distressed denim jacket. All different but again but go with everything in your closet. I got the distressed denim jacket from Target, the faux leather jacket is from Blank NYC that is sold in Nordstrom, and the olive green utility jacket I got from Forever21.

Jeans are a must for everyones closet. There are different types of jeans that I think everyone should own. A pair of boyfriend jeans, a pair of regular distressed skinny jeans, and a pair of slim black jeans. My favorite brands of jeans are Kut from the Kloth, Free People, Flying Monkey (which you can get at All About You Couture) and BDG from Urban Outfitters

Shoes are probably the most important part of an outfit to me, it literally makes or breaks it. I feel that most of my shoes are pretty simple but add the right amount of style to my outfits. I chose a pair of knee high riding boots from Sam Edelman, a pair of cutout booties from Musse and Cloud, and of course a pair of White low top Converse.

Now handbags are such a personal thing. I love a simple black bag that will go with any outfit that I can just grab and go. I am a big fan of Rebecca Minkoff, her bags are simple but have a little edge to them. Her bags are timeless and the type to never go out of style.

Those are my top picks for my fall basics. I hope you all enjoyed my post! I hope this post brings inspiration to your closets.

Positive vibes from me to you!

Love Always,
Daniele XOXO
